Content Editing
In addition to performing the functions of a Line Edit listed above, a content editor will work to ensure the general accuracy and consistency of content and will focus more on extensive restructuring of sentences. The editor will focus on maintaining consistency of details, information and ideas.
How it works:
You submit a Microsoft Word file to be edited. The content editor tracks his/her changes to the document. You will then receive the edited document and will be asked to accept or reject all or individual changes to the document.
This report will include:
- Review of basic English mechanics including spelling, grammar and punctuation
- Review of typos found in the manuscript
- Thorough review of syntax, word choice and overall readability
- Review of content flow, consistency of story, tense and clarity
- YOU have control over all final changes to your manuscript!!
