Application to PDF Conversion Process

Applications such as InDesign allow a user to export a file out the application for a PDF conversion. PDF files are necessary to be considered Output Ready. Use these guides for exporting your file to PDF to insure the file will convert nicely.

PageMaker

Adobe introduced PageMaker in 1994 and as of 2011 all support of the software was discontinued. If you have PageMaker files you have several options:

Save the file as Postscript and distill in Acrobat Distiller to a PDF
Work with a typesetter to recreate your files
can the pages from your book and create a PDF file.
